It all started after one summer when we lived together on Moody Beach in Southern Maine. Enjoying beach fires, lobster bakes, and all the ocean has to offer, we knew that summer would eventually end and the real world would be right around the corner. Back at school in Ohio, we found ourselves dreaming about how we could make the beach a part of our lives year round. We talked about how we wished
we could live the summer lifestyle year round and soon enough ideas were beginning to take shape. Realizing that typical touristy shirts were all that consumed the oceanfront stores, we developed a brand that was built on comfort, quality, and above all that special feeling that the coast gives us. The idea for Bobbing Buoy was born and it became our mission to create a clothing brand that embodies not just coastal living and the summer, but the joy of doing what you love. Two years later Bobbing Buoy has become a reality. We are now living together and work hard to make Bobbing Buoy a part of everyone’s life. We want everyone to continue chasing summer, because to us summer represents the most important aspects of life; family, friends, and doing what you love. When we wear Bobbing Buoy it brings us back to those summers on the beach, where will the buoy bring you?
