Because the name of my shop is 'Artfully Quilted by Barbs' customers think I have a partner, also named Barb, that there are two of us. But there is just me (which I am sure my Mother is thankful for!) Before I opened my shop, I was a stay at home babysitting Grandma. One of the little ones I watched is technically not a grandchild (but that is how we claim her). Her and our grandson are the same
age so she grew up calling me Grandma also. In the mornings her mom would tell her "hurry up, we need to get you to Barb's". So I became Grandma Barbs. The 'Artfully Quilted' part of the name of my shop comes from my passion for quilting your quilt tops in a way that will enhance the work of art you have created. I provide affordable long arm quilting services and I have a second Gammill machine that I rent out on an hourly basis if you have an interest in doing the quilting yourself. My belief is that every quilter has a special passion of expressing their creativity. I offer classes to all ages and skill levels to help each quilter achieve their quilting creations. Offering continued support and encouragement throughout the entire quilting experience. I am very passionate about passing down the art of quilting to the next generations and offer affordable beginner classes to kids of all ages.
