I want to share with you guys a little tidbit…..we had a sweet lady place an order in January, we shipped it the 17th. As we all know shipping can be kinda spotty at times, which caused her package to sit in Waterloo, IA for weeks…..she contacted me actually as I was filling out the appropriate forms to locate her package. I explained what I was doing and she was greatful for the communication. After a phone call from the postal service in MD acting very unprofessional, I contacted my local office while dropping off my usual orders. The gals are always so kind and did the best they could…..I let my customer know that in the mean time of her 2 CareBear scrunchies getting lost in shipping, we had sold a few, leaving only one of the 2 for her order. We did give her options {full refund, partially refund and send the one, or send completely different items of her choosing} she chose a full refund, which I issued immediately. ☺️ I still wanted to send her daughter something special since the lost scrunchies were intended for her birthday party today (Saturday). So I grabbed one of each CareBear Scrunchie we had in stock and packaged them up and sent them off……I did not let the customer know I had sent them, sometimes surprises are fun!! We received a message last night that they had arrived. ❤️
This……this is why I do what I do!! Is it about the money?! Sometimes, when there’s a bill to pay…..but it’s about being a nice caring human!! I’m a mama of 4 daughters, who all went through the CareBear stage. I totally get it!! We’ve had a handful of orders get lost in the mail, and I always reach out and make it right!! It’s what a small business should do. We support our customers too. ❤️❤️
