My friend Nikki’s home was badly damaged in a house fire today. She is a wonderful, loving, selfless soul who helps anyone and everyone ALL the time! She is a huge part of our local community. She is loved by many and we are each doing what we can to take some of the monetary stress off of their family at this time. They have been displaced but seem to have family to stay with but as you can imagine they will need to replace the portion of their life (for a family of 5 plus a pup) they lost before insurance claims process.

What are you thinking about the new spring styles?!? I was out shopping last weekend and noticed the same styles I am seeing offered from my suppliers...

The style is circling back to and feeling more retro-vintage... flare jeans, more buttons and ruffles, tie fronts...is it love or hate? 🤨 will be placing an order soon to gear up for spring shows.

Happy New Year! 🥳 I hope everyone had a happy and safe one. I spent most of the day doing year end accounting/inventory for the Boutique and thinking about my 2019 focus.

💫 What’s your focus?

I have decided that ultimately I want to personally focus on:
🧘🏼‍♀️ Being strategically fit - financially, physically and mentally. Not just a number on a scale or bank account but a way of life. Controlling my impulsive personality. Staying focused on the goals, even if I have a rough day. Even if I fall off the bandwagon. Getting back up and continuing like the fall didn’t happen.
⏰ Time Management - Making better choices with the hours in my day and days in my weeks. Doing things with an intention and purpose. Following a family schedule, especially during the week.
📚 Reading - Reading actual books again, not just social media stories. Even if they are guilty pleasure books. Giving myself time at night to wind down with a book. Reading with Max. Reading as a family.

For the Boutique:
📅Scheduling Vendor/Craft Shows - around the area. Meeting new people and giving people the opportunity to feel the amazing materials. If you know anyone who runs local shows please let me know.
👚 Inventory turnover and maintaining fresh new styles. It’s not always easy. The more I sell, the more I can buy. With working full time and doing this on the side, I can’t focus my efforts on marketing. We heavily depend on shares and recommendations!
🛍Staying the small business hobby boutique I had planned from the start - Enjoying each sale and each show. Enjoying bringing all of my customers unique, comfortable and affordable clothing.
