We are saddened to hear about the devastation our neighbors to the south have experienced. Let's do what Ottawa does and give them a helping hand, if you are looking for a donation drop off, W Social Club at 224 W. Main St. Ottawa (just across the street from us) will be accepting donations, they have provided a list of needs posted in the comments.

Let's all show Streator some love!

Yesterday, tornadoes surrounded our farm. We watched the skies, listened to the warnings, and spent a lot of time in the basement.

This morning the birds are singing, the sun is rising, and our farm is standing. Not everyone was as fortunate. To our neighbors in the communities that experienced damage, loss, and fear yesterday—we are thinking of you. Storms have a way of reminding us what really matters. Not things. Not schedules. Not to-do lists.

People. Communities. Kindness.

If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the years, it’s that difficult days don’t last forever, and good people always show up to help. Hold onto hope. Take things one step at a time. Your community is stronger than any storm.
