I mostly decorate houses, but sometimes I get to do photo backdrops and events. This set up was for a women’s conference. That gorgeous green velvet couch from was everyone’s favorite. And giant balloons with bows just make you smile. 🎀💐🎈

This further illustrates why you have to pick paint in your lighting vs online or store lighting. And the color that is amazing in your friends house, may not look amazing in yours. I had to go towards the cream tones to end up with a more neutral putty color. I painted one small wall my 1st choice to make sure I liked it. I ended up choosing wool skein. It has a slight green undertone in my home and I absolutely love it.

When I went to pick out a paint color, I knew I wanted to steer away from a true gray because of all the brown tones I have in my tile. Even the greige colors didn’t look quite right. So I finally settled on these two colors :Useful Gray and Analytical Gray. I bought small containers of these two to try on the wall. And as you can see in the pictures, the colors LOOK COMPLETELY DIFFERENT on my wall. I mean night and day. We have mostly LED lights in our home, and as we all know, lighting really affects paint color. The combination of lighting and the current yellow wall color was making me think I was crazy. Every gray/greige paint I threw up there looked purple. Stay tuned to see what colors I tried next.
