🤍 A Message to Our Customers 🤍

Due to unexpected and life changing events, I have made the incredibly difficult decision to close Racks & Rattles Boutique so I can focus on my family during this incredibly difficult time.

Our storefront is now permanently closed.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate your understanding, kindness and prayers as we navigate the days ahead.

I’m also so incredibly sorry this isn’t the way I ever wanted Racks & Rattles to close. I had hoped to say goodbye in a different way and thank each of you properly for the love and support you’ve shown me throughout this journey. My heart is broken that circumstances have led us here.

Our online store will also be temporarily closed while I take the time my family needs. I promise this is only temporary and it will be back up as soon as I’m able. For those of you with gift cards, please don’t worry they will absolutely be honored once our online store reopens.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting my family and this little dream of mine. Your kindness, encouragement and loyalty have meant more than words could ever express. Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult season. I hope to see many of you again soon, whether online or at future markets. 🤍

✨Meet the face behind Racks & Rattles Boutique!✨

Hey, friends! I thought it was time to properly introduce myself. I’m Haylie, the owner and heart behind Racks & Rattles Boutique! I have a sweet boy, Crue while anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby Knox later this year. Being a mama is my greatest blessing and this little boutique has become such a beautiful way to combine my love for family, creativity and serving this amazing community.

A fun fact about me is that I actually went to cosmetology school! I’ve always had a passion for making people feel beautiful, whether that was behind the chair doing hair or now helping women find outfits they feel confident in. There’s something so special about seeing someone leave feeling their absolute best.

Becoming a mama gave me a whole new love for children’s clothing. I absolutely adore dressing little ones and finding the cutest, high-quality pieces for kids because they deserve to feel just as adorable as they are.

Outside of the boutique, you’ll almost always find me thrifting for vintage treasures or decorating with anything western or vintage farmhouse. I love finding unique pieces with character and giving them a new life. When I’m not doing that, I’m usually dreaming up new ideas for the boutique and searching for the next collection, gift, or item that will make Racks & Rattles even better. Most importantly, I love spending time with my family, those moments together are what mean the most to me and truly fill my heart.

Owning Racks & Rattles Boutique has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. It has allowed me to meet so many amazing people, build lasting friendships and live out a dream I never imagined would become what it has. Thank you for supporting my family, my dream and this little business through every season. It truly means more than you’ll ever know. 🫶🏼

Being voted Best Children’s Wear and Runner Up for Women’s Wear in Shiawassee County is an incredible honor.

When I started Racks & Rattles Boutique, I simply hoped to create a space where families could find pieces they loved and feel welcomed every time they walked through the door. To know that our community has embraced us in this way means more than I can ever put into words.

I am so sorry for the last-minute notice, but unfortunately I woke up feeling very sick this morning and won’t be able to open the shop today.

As a small business owner, these decisions are never easy because I truly hate having to unexpectedly close. But I also know it’s important to take the time to rest and recover so I can be back to serving you all as soon as possible.
