It has been a busy year over here! Made a move to some extra acreage, which has taken up most of my time, but ecstatic to show off a harvest of my garden this year. I have been growing Hopi black dye sunflowers for a few years now, and this is my first season to get gaint blooms! Looking forward to using these seeds in the future for purples, greys, and blacks! 🌻 🌞 💖

As I was out at my flower garden today picking my remaining cosmos for flowering pounding demonstrations this weekend, I loved watching this little moth fly around and visit the last of the flowers mixed in with the ones that have gone to seed. Watching the different bugs and life cycle of the plants from buds to seeds has been a beautiful reminder of the beauty of God's design and His faithfulness.

"While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”

Finally got my naturally dyed tote bag together using the pattern from . Took much longer than expected with life with two under two, but it is done! This deep tote will be my new go-to library/farmers' market bag, and I am excited to be able to enjoy my plant dyed fabric on a regular basis. It is so fun to work with the creamy colors that plant dyes give us.
