This is the Indiana Glass Pagoda Fairy Lamp, produced during the 1970s and 1980s when fairy lamps made a comeback in American homes. Although inspired by Victorian candle lamps from the 1800s, Indiana Glass gave this version an Asian-inspired pagoda roof that reflected one of the biggest decorating trends of the era. Many were sold through Tiara Exclusives home parties, where collectors could purchase them in a variety of colors to match their décor. This satin finish wasn’t painted—it was created by acid etching the glass, giving it a soft, velvety surface that beautifully diffuses candlelight. Today these fairy lamps remain favorites with collectors because they combine American pressed-glass craftsmanship, nostalgic design, and timeless decorative appeal.
