They are sourced, designed, and spun on traditional handlooms, then tailored in the mountains of western Nepal -- supporting a developing economy and fragile ecological balance. The style of the weave may deviate slightly depending on which village the fabric is spun in. These shirts are sold to you nearly at cost.

For the wearer, H**p fiber possesses three times the tensile strength of cotton. It fares well in all weather conditions, especially hotter and more humid climates as it is 50% more UV resistant than cotton fibers and naturally mold-resistant.

Environmentally, H**p has a minimal footprint as it requires little to no irrigation and does not require synthetic fertilizer. H**p’s deep center taproot replenishes vital nutrients to the soil and prevents erosion.
