Here are some rules for the Panama City auction page
rules:
1. General Information:
All pickups must be in Panama City which includes multiple towns so make sure to put your approximate location for pickup, no shipping. You must be at least 18 years of age to be a member. No spam/no drama, please. You purchase items at your own risk. Ask the seller any questions about the item prior to bidding. Make sure to check your Message Request folder daily if you are bidding on items.
2. Be kind and courteous/No hate speech and bullying
As a community, we aim to cultivate an inclusive and enjoyable atmosphere. It is important to demonstrate kindness and respect towards one another, ensuring that everyone feels secure. Any form of bullying is strictly prohibited, and derogatory remarks concerning race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be accepted. Any discourteous behavior will lead to your removal from the group. Let us work together to establish a welcoming environment.
3. Use the sale template and post all the needed info
Kindly take a look at the Featured section located at the top of the group for a guide on the format to follow when posting. It is important to include the smoking or non-smoking status and whether pets are allowed or not, even for outdoor smoking or pets. Any defects in the condition of the item should be noted and pictures added. Please indicate if the item is in working or non-working condition. You may use stock photos, but it is necessary to post a real-life photo as well. For car seats, the manufacturer’s sticker should be visible. Kindly add the sizes of clothes and shoes, as well as measurements for decor and other items.
4. Starting bid days: Weds/Saturdays & 1st Monday
Our auctions typically begin at $1 per item, but on Wednesdays and Saturdays, sellers have the opportunity to set their own starting bid price. Additionally, the first Monday of each month is reserved for items with a starting bid of at least $50. During our regular $1 auctions, members are welcome to bid any amount they wish, with bids increasing incrementally from the starting price. For example, if the price starts at $1 and the first bidder places a bid of $5, the next bid would be $6.
5. Auction length, quantity, bumping & end time
Each auction posted will last for precisely 24 hours, ending the following day at the same time it was posted. You have the option to post up to 20 auctions in a single day and can bump each auction twice. Bidders have the opportunity to bid during the final minute of the seller’s end time. For instance, if an auction ends at 11:53 am, the highest bidder before the clock changes to 11:54 am will be the winner. In case multiple bids are made at the same price and time, the last comment that appears will be declared the winner.
6. Selling (posting an auction)
To ensure a smooth auction process, please follow these guidelines: Use the provided format to post your auction. Once the auction concludes, kindly tag the winner and send them a private message within 2 days. Please allow 24 hours for a response before moving on to the next highest bidder. In case the winner fails to respond within 24 hours. Do not delete your auction before it ends, even if you did not get the desired price. It is the seller’s responsibility to confirm the winner. Thank you for your cooperation.
7. Bidding
To place a bid, please make sure to leave a new comment with a whole USD increment without changing the price. Please avoid making bids in the reply section as they will be considered invalid. It is important to note that bidding at or below the seller’s starting bid price on Wednesdays and Saturdays is required. Also, refrain from deleting your bid once placed. You will have the final minute of the bidding period to place your bid. By bidding on an item, you are committing to purchasing it and cannot retract your bid. Failure to pick up your item within the seller’s designated timeframe may result in being reported. If reported twice, you will be removed from the group.
8. Delete your old auctions
As a seller, it is your duty to remove your auctions within 24 hours of them closing if there are no bids. To list your item again, you must create a new auction. Once you have tagged the winner and sent them a private message, please delete your post once they respond. If you do not receive a reply, you may leave your post up for an additional day to tag them a few more times.
9. Prohibited Items/Not allowed on auctions
Please take note of the following items that are prohibited in our platform: guns, knives, and other weapons, X-***ed graphic materials, ammunition, lottery tickets, alcohol, to***co, v**e and other related items, recalled products, animals, political materials, used underwear (only new ones with tags are allowed), ads, and ISO posts (in search of posts). We do not allow auctions that have multiple items with individual starting prices or where the winner gets to choose which items they want. All items shown on the auction will be included in the winning bid price. Thank you for complying with our guidelines.
