🤍 PARAGOULD, WE NEED TO TALK. PLEASE READ THIS. 🤍
This is probably one of the hardest things our family has ever had to post.
Three years ago, our family took a chance.
We purchased a business that was on its way out because we couldn’t stand the thought of losing another local place where girls could come, get dressed up, feel beautiful, and make memories.
We wanted to keep something local.
We wanted a place where a little girl could walk through our doors for her very first pageant dress and, years later, come back looking for her prom dress.
A place where moms could watch their daughters step out of a dressing room and see their faces light up.
A place where sisters could laugh, families could make memories, and girls could feel beautiful and confident.
We wanted to be a part of those moments.
And for the last three years, we have poured our blood, sweat, tears, time, money, energy, and hearts into making Daughter’s Formal what it is today.
Our family has sacrificed so much for this business.
There have been days we were exhausted. Days we wondered how we were going to make it. Days we questioned whether all of the late nights, long hours, financial sacrifices, and everything we’ve poured into this was worth it.
But we kept showing up.
Because we believed Daughter’s Formal mattered.
And today, we’re asking our community for something we never wanted to have to ask for.
We need you.
Homecoming season is here, and we are asking — almost begging — for our community to show up for us this year.
If you need a homecoming dress, pageant dress, prom dress, tuxedo for a wedding, or formalwear for any special occasion, please come see us first.
And if you find a dress somewhere else that you love, please call us before you purchase it.
We can get many of the same dresses and designers that the larger dress stores carry. If we don’t have it in store, there’s a very good chance we can order it for you. We have so many girls who have done this, and we are more than happy to help you get the dress you love.
You don’t always have to leave Paragould to find what you’re looking for.
But this isn’t just about buying a dress.
It’s about what happens when you choose to shop local.
When you spend your money at a local business in Paragould, that money has a chance to stay right here in Paragould.
It helps local families.
It helps local employees.
It helps pay local bills.
It helps other local businesses.
It helps our community continue to grow.
When you choose a local business, you’re not just making a purchase.
You’re investing in the place you call home.
And we want Daughter’s Formal to still be here.
We want the next little girl to be able to walk through our doors and find her first pageant dress.
We want the mom who has been shopping with us since her daughter was little to come back for prom.
We want to help your son find his tux for his wedding.
We want to see your girls come back year after year.
We want to continue being a tiny part of the biggest moments in your family’s lives.
We don’t want to leave Paragould.
But the truth is, we can’t do this alone.
One of the hardest things for us is that so many of the people who consistently support us are from several towns away or even out of state.
And please know — we are SO incredibly thankful for every single one of you.
Every order. Every visit. Every share. Every referral. Every person who has driven to see us.
You have no idea what that means to our family.
But we are asking the people who live right here in our community:
Please don’t overlook us.
Please give us a chance.
Please come through our doors.
Please let us help you find the dress.
Please tell your friends about us.
Please share our posts.
Please choose us when you can.
Because behind this business aren’t some huge corporation or investors who don’t know your name.
It’s our family.
It’s people who have poured their entire hearts into keeping this place alive.
It’s us staying late.
It’s us worrying.
It’s us praying.
It’s us putting everything we have into making sure Daughter’s Formal continues to exist.
And we don’t want to look back one day and say, “We tried everything we could, but our community didn’t know how badly we needed them.”
So we’re telling you now.
We need you.
We need your support.
We need your prayers.
We need your referrals.
We need you to share our name.
We need you to shop with us when you have the opportunity.
And yes, we need customers — because without them, no small business can survive.
But more than anything, we need our community to believe that keeping something local is worth fighting for.
We have prayed over this business more times than we could ever count.
There have been moments where we’ve wondered why God gave us this mountain.
But we continue to believe He put Daughter’s Formal in our family’s hands for a reason.
“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3 🤍
So this homecoming season, we’re praying for something bigger than sales.
We’re praying for our community to come together.
We’re praying that when someone needs a dress, someone says:
“Go to Daughter’s Formal.”
We’re praying that when someone sees this post, they share it.
We’re praying that people realize that choosing local isn’t just about where you buy something.
It’s about who you’re helping keep here.
Please don’t let Daughter’s Formal become another local business that people say,
“I remember when that place was here.”
We don’t want to be a memory.
We want to still be here.
We want to grow here.
We want to serve your families here.
We want to make more memories here.
Please help us keep Daughter’s Formal in Paragould. 🤍
From our family to yours, thank you to every person who has stood behind us these past three years.
We see you.
We appreciate you.
We pray for you.
And we will never forget you.
Please, Paragould. Show up for us this homecoming season.
🤍 SHOP LOCAL. SUPPORT LOCAL. KEEP DAUGHTER’S FORMAL HOME. 🤍
