How are we celebrating the by breaking the Rule Of Thirds in an ?

Flip It, Stack It, and Balance It:

The usual rule of 2/3 is used to elongate the legs well. In this example, we made the core of our outfit the top half layering maximalist textures, but balancing it with a play in structure and a monochrome color palette. It's already interesting, so on the bottom half, the foundational 1/3 is a relaxed fit wit with textured distressing in the same color palette of blue jeans. The dark, simple ballet flat just cleanly finishes the look.

Note the fit on the jeans visually also balances out the width and volume at the shoulder, making nothing wider than the other.

Would you try breaking this common rule? Leave a 👍or👎down in the comments!

Stop dressing for your size. Start dressing for your vibe. ⚡️

We’ve all been told what we “should” wear based on a number on a tag or the shape of our body.

At Zahavi & Schwartz, we’re throwing that out and playing with Styling Math!

May is all about Motivation—the motivation to stop hiding and start expressing. Personal style isn’t about fitting in; it’s about creating balance, finding harmony, and making your outfits interesting to you first.

Swipe through for our May manifesto:
1️⃣ Proportions > Size. Always.
2️⃣ Comfort is a power move.
3️⃣ If it catches your eye, wear it.
4️⃣ Balance = Harmony.
