Is it ever too late to change? Over the past few years, I have changed a lot about my life and today is no different. I have made the tough decision to sell my business.
I recently married the man of my dreams. He and my youngest son live in Florida (in different areas) and I will be joining them. So…for love, sand, and sunshine, I’m off on my new adventure.
I appreciate all the hard work of family, friends and employees over the past 7 1/2 years. Thank you to all of my customers who have been so supportive and kind. I hope you all know how important you have been in making my business a success.
Today will be my last day at The Southern Marketplace. The store will be closed tomorrow but will reopen on Thursday under new ownership.
On to the good stuff…. The new owner is Stacey McKinzie. She has worked here for quite some time and she is fabulous! Stacey holds a degree in interior design and fashion merchandising. I chose someone whom I trust to take care of my customers. She will continue on making The Southern Marketplace the best gift shop in Paris. No worries, there will be little to no change in the store. She will continue to carry all the same great brands that you know and love. She will honor all gift certificates that you may have. Stop by on Thursday to congratulate Stacey and please continue to give your support to The Southern Marketplace.
You may still see me around occasionally. I will visit KY every now and then as I still have one child that lives in Pikeville. The answer to my question, no, it is NEVER too late to change. God had a plan and I sure have been blessed! ✌️❤️🌴😎
