With the high avalanche conditions and unstable snow pack in the Wasatch/Uintas this season, we’ve been finding other zones to explore. Including a 1900’ vertical couloir and boot backing for 2.5 hours to reach it.
It’s also a good time to heal old injuries and get ready for the next mission. Here is in infrared heat up to 130 plus degrees for about an hour, followed by a float for complete sensory deprivation. Which can only be described as being transported to outer space or back to the womb. Seemed like an appropriate time to practice Qi Gong embryonic breathing techniques while floating.
