I had the special privilege of making bears for my own family recently. šŸ§ø

Earlier this year my aunt passed away, so I made her three children bears from pieces of her clothing, as well as that of her husbandā€™s that passed away before her. Itā€™s such a special bear when you mix clothing from two people, itā€™s like you get to hug them both at the same time. ā¤ļø

The other two I made with only her clothing for my father & one of her sisters. Those too are very special since her name was Rosetta (pronounced Rosita), & she always wore the reddest lipstick, like that of a rose. šŸŒ¹

I havenā€™t posted in a while, but Iā€™ve still been working hard on some cutie memory bears!

These guys were made from a patchwork quilt & they turned out so cute! I love a patchwork style bear that brings a variety of fabrics & patterns together, each one full of memories.

If youā€™re looking to have a memory keepsake made, now is the perfect time to have it done. Especially if youā€™re looking to have them made in time for Christmas gifting, as I usually get pretty busy as the time approaches.

I made a couple lovely elephants to match the puppies I posted a few weeks ago. These were embroidered on their ears in memory of their mother & have a patchwork assortment of fabrics from the clothing she wore.
