SEIZE THE DAY is Jacob Pomroy’s ambassador line, and he chose to make it about something bigger than a shirt.
Jacob, aka The Posing Sensei, has lived with epilepsy since he was seven. When it came time to create his line, he chose to use it to raise awareness for the epilepsy community. Every detail means something. The skull and brain show what a seizure feels like, the purple lightning is brain activity, and the ribbon stands for awareness.
In his words: “The biggest thing I wanted to do was to create as much awareness as possible.”
In recent months his seizures have become more frequent and more severe, and he’s working toward getting a seizure response service dog. A portion of the proceeds from every Seize the Day shirt goes toward helping him cover that cost.
November is National Epilepsy Awareness Month. Wear it with purpose. Share his story. Help us show up for Jacob the way he’s always shown up for us.

This one is about a vision being brought to life. A story worth sharing. A community coming together for something bigger than ourselves. And awareness being brought to a condition that 1 in 26 people in the U.S. will develop during their lifetime.

Personally, I want to say, this is one of the hardest projects I’ve ever done but I’m extremely proud of it. Filmed and edited myself. A lot of late nights. My husband did amazing with these designs and products as well. Halloween is a prime time for us and I wanted to literally bring our drop to life. I’m extremely pleased with this entire collection and I hope you are too. 🖤

🌹HASTA LA MUERTE 🥀 Our shirt design brought to life. Grab yours before it’s too late! Black Death

Personal note: I literally replicated the exact design. I was very excited for this one. After a very long night of filming for the No Rest For The Dead drop, from 10 pm to 7 am, I finally came down to catching this character on camera. There’s something incredibly comforting about the sugar skull and what they represent. Rather than focusing on the morbid fear of death, it praises the cycle of life. Though I mourned my own family when they passed away, I had their last moments replay in my head on repeat…reminders like these teach me to think about the long life they lived rather than those final moments. Celebrate the life they did live. I love that.
