The one that got away.

I’ve found bigger things. Rarer things. More expensive things.
None of them live in my head rent-free like this pottery set. I sold it years ago and still scan every flea market table hoping those little blue flowers show up again.

bought these sight unseen at auction and took a risk on the texture and the set. listed as carved wood tramp art mirrors, but they read more like pinecone or seed pod folk art in person. not what i expected, but the scale, repetition, and depth still work. three matching vintage mirrors like this don’t come up often. talk me out of keeping them

once you see them, you can’t unsee them. now all I want is interior windows. why doesn’t every home have this?
