DTF Reflective Transfers: Cool Effect or Total Waste of Money? 💸

Reflective DTF transfers sound amazing on paper, but do they actually deliver what you expect?

We tested reflective DTF film from Calca, so you don't have to make the same mistake. Here's the honest truth: reflective DTF is not the same as traditional reflective HTV or screen print.

When you print full color onto reflective film, the result looks muted and flat under normal lighting; it only activates when direct light hits it, giving more of a shimmer or holographic effect than a true bold reflection.

Our Honest Recommendation: Printphase does not currently offer reflective DTF transfers using Calca film. If you're looking to add a special effect to your DTF lineup, we'd point you toward better alternatives.
