Melissa and Chris (yes, we had two Melissa's on site so there were definitely moments where lots of people turned our heads at once haha) were married this past Friday at Belle Mer, and the entire day felt soft, romantic, and effortlessly elegant. From the oversized bows to the white florals and greenery by Michelle Jean Florals, every detail had such a feminine and timeless feel. Being ladies who love girly things, we absolutely loved it! Their ceremony at Salve Regina University was beautiful, and arriving at Belle Mer in a Rolls made the whole day feel even more classic and glamorous.
From the speeches and time spent with these two throughout the day it became very clear how perfectly Melissa and Chris balance each other out. Melissa is apparently the life of the party (we saw it with our own eyes!), the decision maker of the family, and someone who has no problem taking charge... something her sisters seemed more than happy to confirm during the toasts. Chris, on the other hand, is a little more reserved but so warm and personable once you start talking with him. Together they have that classic opposites-attract energy that just works so naturally.
The entire day was filled with laughter and so much love from the people around them. Between the emotional moments at the ceremony, the gorgeous design details, and the packed dance floor later in the evening, this wedding was such a joy to document. We had so much fun with Melissa and Chris! We spent the day joking around with them, laughing between moments, and just feeding off their energy. Theyāre the kind of couple who make everyone around them feel happier just by being together, and we left Belle Mer smiling from ear to ear.
