Getting ready for Halloween! Instead of candy this year I want give treats that kids can use! I used my xTool M2 to create these perfect Halloween giveaways for trick-or-treaters! I started with small mini Play-Doh pots and made toppers to create halloween themed pots! First I cut out small circles using Makerboard Colors- White basswood. I used the 1/8" basswood setting to cut these. Then I created the Halloween shapes out of Craft Closet's Jet Black Gloss acrylic. I used the 1/8" black acrylic settings for these. They both cut perfectly on my M2! Then I glued the circles onto the Play-Doh pots and glued the halloween shapes onto the circles. I made small "cards" with holes in them, just big enough for the pots to fit in, out of the Makerboard Colors-White basswood and engraved them with fun Halloween sayings. Then I put the pots in the holes and the give away is ready! I love how fast, easy and cute these turned out!

I've been having so much fun creating with my xTool M2! One of my favorite things about it is the print and cut feature. I can make easy projects quickly for my cute little grandkiddos to play with! Of course they love watching it create these things! I found this cute paperdoll file on Creative Fabrica and print and cut it out of basswood! It keep them busy for the afternoon! I am really excited that xTool is having their 6th Anniversary sale this week! It's a great time to buy one if you are in the market for a great laser! My cute little grandkiddos are going back to school! We had a such fun weekend trying to fit in last minute summer activities together! Saturday we had a fun craft day making some special things to help back to school be a little less intimidating.
They helped me use my xTool M2 to make printed lunch bags and print and cute lunch notes to use the first week and we also used it to engrave names on their pencils! I love how the same machine that engraves can also print full color and cut it out!
