One of the most important elements of a quality hat is the sweat band. We make sure we use leather aimed at comfort, durability, and longevity. This past weekend was all about replacing broken, cracked, and terribly sewn sweat bands. We make our own sweat bands and always hand sew. Some corners just shouldn't be cut.

Why we typically only do custom work is because a hat is very particular to the wearer. This insert was made using a tie from the customer's father, who has passed on. No one will ever have what she has but you can custom your hat with your own unique style & sentiment.

to for this custom leather band for our client. Typically, we do all of our own work, but whenever we can support friends and local artisans we will! Our client had a specific look he was going for and it turned out truly beautiful.
