Sewing should bring you joy, but when your machine acts up, that interrupts the whole process! A friendly reminder to clean your machine between projects. Even just getting the dust and lint out of the bobbin area will help your sewing and keep your machine healthy. IMPORTANT: I am in the team vac/brush and NOT team canned air. There's different opinions out there, but I believe that if you take a can of compressed air that they sell to clean keyboards, etc - that process can just push debris further into your machine and cause more problems later on. Better to use a brush (your machine probably came with one, or you can get one at the sewing shop) and a small vac with little attachments. Be careful of the inside parts: Check your machine's manual for specific recommendations and remember we still need to have our machines professionally serviced on a schedule - just like our cars.
