Tad's Pottery my real name is Terrie Clements Drescher and I love playing in the dirt! I enjoy using sewing material as well as plant material as texture designs in my work.

I have always enjoyed the creative process, whether it is sewing a piece of clothing, hand piecing a quilt or planting flowers in the garden, so becoming involved with clay seemed natural to me. I try to keep each of my pieces unique and individual and able to make a statement of its own.

The Saturday class has no participants so far. If no one signs up by 8:30 this evening, it will be cancelled. The next Saturday class is July 18 at 1:00. Two people have reserved their spots for this one.
I have a Thursday class scheduled for July 23 at 11:00. Beginning in August, I will not have Thursday morning classes.
Back in the day, a long time ago when Grinders Switch was open, I did classes every Tuesday evening.
I enjoy doing these, so if you are interested in classes, talk to me!
Cost for this initial "make your own drinking vessel class" is $25. Pricing will change based on the project - or whatever you want your project to be!

The Thursday, June 25th class is full!

Play in the Dirt Clay Class 2026
I have decided to try 2 dates and see what happens!
Saturday, June 20 at 1:00 - I can't give an end time, because I don't know how long it will take for people to complete the project and I don't want to rush you -
Thursday June 25 at 11:00 am - again, no end time - but you do have to leave eventually 😉
The cost to make your own drinking vessel at these first classes is $25 and I do prefer prepayment. You will be decorating your vessel with the colored slips I have on hand and they will be completed with clear glaze for their final firing - each piece is fired 2 times - all information will be covered in the class!
No more than 6 per class!
