A little imagination goes a long way. 💕
Today these handmade friends gathered for a pretend picnic in their play kitchen, complete with donuts, cookies, marshmallow kitties, and baking mixes. 🧺🍪🍩
Every plush animal and every piece of play food is handmade by me in my studio, one stitch at a time. My favorite part is imagining all the stories children will create with them—serving pretend treats, hosting tea parties, and making memories through imaginative play.
Sometimes the simplest toys become the ones that are loved the longest. ❤️

Mark your calendars! The Windmill will be open Friday and Saturday of Independence Day weekend, July 3rd and 4th, to celebrate America 250. Music will be provided by the Woodhull Community Band on Friday and Emilio Benites on Saturday. You can also enjoy face painting, a roaming calliope player, and a Civil War Living History display on Friday and Saturday. Balloon Artist, Sir James will be on hand Friday to entertain the kiddos.
