🧵 KIDS HOMESCHOOL SEWING 101 ✂️

Turn homeschool Mondays into a time to LEARN, CREATE & HAVE FUN!

Pins & Needles Homeschool Sewing 101 is designed for children who are excited to learn how to sew while building confidence and creating projects they can actually use and wear.

No experience? No problem! We’ll start with the basics and build our skills each month.

📅 Semester: September – November
⏰ Mondays: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
🗓️ Schedule: 4 classes per month • 2 hours each class
💛 Tuition: $120 per month + supplies

Students will learn how to thread a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, safely operate their machine, and work with templates and sewing patterns.

SEPTEMBER — Let’s Get Started!
Pillowcase • Backpack • Patchwork Pillow

OCTOBER — Building Our Skills!
Tote Bag • Pajama Bottoms

NOVEMBER — The Big Project!
Students will create a piece of clothing of their choice, with instructor approval.

Each month gets a little more challenging as students grow their sewing skills, creativity, and confidence.

Come sew, create, make new friends, and have FUN with us! 🧵💛

This jacket is ABSOLUTE 🔥🔥🤯

For those who have known me and followed me since the beginning of this fashion journey, you know how personal this moment is for me.

For years, I designed, cut, and sewed everything myself. Every garment. Every detail. Every stitch.

Three different times, I tried to turn what I was creating with my own two hands into a real business—and three different times, I learned the same lesson. I’m hardheaded, so apparently God had to show me more than once. 😂

I cannot do everything myself and expect the vision to grow.

For the longest time, I believed that if I called myself a designer, I had to personally make every single piece. I thought “handmade” meant it had to be MY hands doing everything.

But growth changed my thinking.

I realized my gift is in the vision—creating the concept, designing the garment, sewing that first piece, perfecting the fit, choosing the materials, and making sure every detail represents what I see in my head.

Then comes the part I had to learn to trust: letting the right manufacturer help me bring that vision to the world.

Being able to create something once, send that vision to a manufacturer, and watch it come back to life again and again at a larger scale is something I’ve dreamed about.

Finding the right manufacturer, communicating over the phone and through video, watching the process, seeing the pieces being made, and knowing that something that started in my mind and underneath my sewing machine is now becoming a REAL collection…

Man… that feeling is different. 🙏🏾

I’m still the designer.
I’m still the creator.
The vision is still mine.

The difference is, I finally stopped trying to carry the entire vision by myself.

And now GAMZUROSE has room to grow. 🌹

This jacket represents more than fashion to me.

It represents the moment I stopped thinking like someone who makes clothes… and started thinking like someone building a brand.
