For Lauren, traveling with Pentwater Public School’s Spanish & Art Club was more than seeing beautiful places — it was discovering the joy of lingering. Long tables. Good food. Fresh herbs- plucked straight from the garden. And the simple pleasure of grazing your way through an afternoon rather than rushing through it.

And, like an inspired Italian , the very first thing Lauren did when she arrived this morning? 🌿 Plucked a basil leaf and popped it straight into her mouth.

That spirit came home with her and inspired The Summer Table — a celebration of leisurely bites, gathering together, and savoring the moment.
