Happy Birthday to the lady OG! 🎉🎂🥳
In 1978, at 24 years old, our mom opened The Flower Bin on the Washington Square.
48 years later, there’s a Rambler on that same square and Drew and I are still doing a version of what she taught us to do. Find the good stuff. Make things look good. Take care of people. Work hard. Be part of your community. Ignore all logical reason and pursue your passion. And apparently, never fully escape retail. 🤣
There’s something so special about coming full circle in the same hometown, on the same Square, nearly half a century later.
Happy Birthday, Mom. The original shop girl, the lady OG, and the one who taught Drew and me pretty much everything we know.
