Hi Everyone! Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas spent with their loved ones.

It’s been a while since I’ve popped on here, but I wanted to share my latest items with you all. Both of these hold a very special place in my heart. ♥️

The first one is my Red Heirloom Patchwork bag. This one is very special to because I purchased the fabric to make something for my grandma, but she ended up passing before I was able to create anything. I’ve held onto it for a couple years and decided that I would create something still in her honor that I think she would love. The inside fabric was purchased more recently at a market in Duluth and it was designed to emulate the traditional “redwork” embroidery dating back to the early 1800’s.

The second bag is my Sweet Scraps Rag Quilt bag. Although this one isn’t as sentimental, it was a fun piece to put together! When I first picked up sewing again, I started making rag quilts as gifts and it was fun to turn that style into a bag.
