Watch NASA's InSight Mission Land on Mars!

On Nov. 26, 2018, (Cyber Monday) at ~noon PT (3 p.m. ET, 2000 UTC), NASA’s InSight mission will land on Mars. The spacecraft will plunge through the thin Martian atmosphere, heatshield first, and use a parachute to slow down. Then, it will fire its retro rockets to slowly descend to the surface.

NASA will broadcast live from mission control at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PT (2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET). Tune in to see the team receive signals from the spacecraft as it lands, plus interviews with NASA experts.
