🤎As we prepare to open our physical brick-and-mortar doors in downtown Perryville this Fall, my heart is to build a storefront that actively lifts up and showcases the incredible talent right here in our own community.

The front room of Adar Creative Studio will feature a beautifully curated, evolving boutique of original artwork, fine art prints, handmade goods, unique gifts, and creative pieces made by real, independent local people.

Our selective curation is officially OPEN today, and we are looking for you!

🍂Whether you make hand-poured candles, throw beautiful pottery, craft whimsical children's goods, paint, woodwork, or create earthy, unique handmade items, we would love to feature your work on our upcoming boutique shelves.

Apparently I have never once looked at a creative outlet and thought, “You know what? One is probably enough.”

Photography has been part of me for years, art has always found its way into everything I do, and now I’m building a space where all of those pieces finally get to live under one roof.

Adar Creative Studio is coming together! A home for photography, art, making things, learning things, community, and probably at least 14 projects I haven’t told anyone about yet. 😅

I’m so excited to show you what I’m building. 🤎

This was great experience! I painted a mural on the walls of the play area in the dance studio that my daughters go to and I learned a lot.

A. I was not prepare for the scale! 9x12 is big for me 😅
2. Acrylic dries fast, spreads and mixes differently and is certainly not the same as water color.
Finally, it’s fun to work on a low pressure project like this was and get to experiment and learn a new medium.

You’re right.

I have a long standing photography page, an art page, and of course my personal page where you get a little bit of everything.

And honestly, that’s part of why Adar Creative came to be. I didn’t want to choose between the things I love creating. I wanted a place where they could all belong.

If you’ve been wondering where Art fits into everything I’m building, it’s not going anywhere. ❤️ It just has a new home in Adar Creative Studio.

Photography, art, workshops, creative gatherings, studio space… they’re all pieces of the same thing now.

Adar Creative is the place where I finally get to bring them together.

Felt my back/neck go in the middle of the night and now I’m basically frozen in one position doing home school at the table with the kids. If it loosens up I’m hoping to make some art today!
