THE SPIRIT OF COUNSEL…
‘I AM your counsel and I AM your Counsellor.
My ways are perfect and the righteous walk after it.
If you are going to choose to walk with Me by listening daily and obeying, you will be led by the Spirit of counsel.
I will lead, guide, direct, correct, affirm, disciple and instruct you if you allow Me.
The Spirit of counsel is the part of Me that will keep you on My path and will lead you into My purposes and destiny for your life.
When you inquire, wait on Me and listen, I will make My Will known to you and I will lead you to My place of promise.
When you come to Me and seek My counsel, I will search your heart for your true motive, because I AM a discerner between the thoughts and intents of your heart.
I will lead you in the ways and the laws of Abba’s Kingdom, so that you may be in right standing before Him.’
Holy Spirit showed me a vision and I saw many people who had decisions to make and they were standing before different directions they could take.
Many people were taking the wrong direction, because they prayed for guidance, but they ended up weighing the circumstances according to what looks right and not waiting on His counsel to lead them into the right direction.
The Spirit of counsel will help us to stay on God’s path for our lives, but we need to inquire for HIS WISDOM,
then LISTEN and WAIT to allow His Word to be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our paths.
Without Holy Spirit’s counsel, we will be misled.
Things may look right to us in the natural, but Holy Spirit knows the true way and we need to lean on Him to guide us in the way we need to go.
Once, we made a terrible mistake in our family, which was actually disobedience, and the enemy came and twisted it, to make it look as part of God’s plan;
everything looked perfect, but it was in fact a tactic from the enemy to entangle us.
All worked together for good in the end and it taught us a valuable lesson.
We learn to WAIT on His counsel, and not to move unless He leads…even if it looks like it fits into His will.
WAIT for confirmation and His commission, because we waste a lot of time in our lives, as we do not allow Holy Spirit to counsel us…
we get impatient and lean on our own understanding and we end up burning our fingers.
Holy Spirit is willing and waiting for us to approach Him, no matter what the case is.
He wants to search our hearts and purify our intentions and motives so that we may walk in His ways with pure hearts.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
“Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action), So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
Proverbs 3:5-7
“Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil. [Prov. 8:13.]”
