Well, that was a blast!! Big thanks to the Bus Shoppe troop for spending the day raising breast cancer awareness and fighting for a cure at the infamous 24th annual Catwalk for a Cure held at Luther Burbank Center in Santa Rosa, sponsored by Sutter Hospital. This year’s theme was disco cowboy, and I couldn’t have been happier with that.
It was a big push to get everything together, but as always, it works out. It takes a village and I’m always so proud to be a part of this amazing gala fundraiser, where all the money raised goes towards helping survivors get through their cancer and treatment. Sutter Hospital does an amazing job with this event and I’m just so glad that we could all come together to keep Hope alive. Thank you to all the models in my troop for spending your day and your time, to Justin McGrath for the raddest disco cowboy boots, to Jill and Ollie for loaning us your coveted and well earned rodeo belt buckles and Bonnie too for the loan of the vintage western shirt! Pulling resources and energy behind the scenes paid off!! Memories were made, money was raised, and October is breast cancer awareness month, so ladies here’s your reminder to get your mammogram.
