There aren’t words, big enough to describe what the last 10 years have meant to me which makes sharing this decision and expressing my appreciation that much more difficult. After 10 special years, I have decided it’s time for me to retire and begin a new chapter in my life. 💕
Pretty Wishes Love LuLu has been so much more than a boutique to me. It has given me an avenue to meet wonderful people, develop and strengthen friendships, laugh, chat, learn, grow, be creative and appreciate all of you who go out of your way to support a small business. These are memories and friendships I will carry with me forever. So many of you have walked through the door just to browse, only to find something special, come back again and again, bring a friend, share a kind word, or let me snap a picture to share your experience with others. Having those moments and making those connections with each of you has truly been the greatest reward. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. 💕
I’m also so grateful to the wonderful store owners who welcomed me and my small business over the years and helped to make this successful journey possible. It began with Kristine Wright and Roost Mercantile, where Pretty Wishes Love LuLu started with a little 8”x12“ frame of handcrafted magnets that just kept growing and expanding into the many treasures I carry today. I could never thank Kristine enough for all the trust, love and respect she gave me. Along the way, I was also blessed to spend wonderful chapters at Burlap & Lace Marketplace, Violet Blue, Bee’s Knees, and There’s No Place Like Home. Each one adding an important part of the Pretty Wishes Love LuLu story. 💕
Those of you who know me best, know that I always lead with my heart, so you understand why there are so many emotions wrapped up in this decision. This has truly been my baby. But knowing that I’m not simply saying goodbye, but instead, saying thank you, allows me to move forward with a full heart. 💕
Thank you for 10 incredible years. Thank you for supporting my dream. Thank you for the friendships and memories and for allowing Pretty Wishes Love LuLu to become a little part of your lives. 💕
I hope you’ll stop in and see me during these final couple of months so we can reminisce, share a hug, and celebrate this wonderful journey together. I also hope you’ll join me on September 9th for a special “10 Years of Gratitude” celebration, honoring ALL of you who have supported me. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate these 10 wonderful years than to raise a glass with the people who made them possible! 💕
