Today I completed some of my parent volunteer hours while supporting my daughter, Nyssa, and the Philadelphia Firefighter Explorers Program.

We spent the day in the 6th & Cambria area going door-to-door offering FREE fire alarm installations to residents.

The Explorers came prepared with ladders, drills, and everything needed to help improve fire safety in the community. It was a hot day, but seeing young people dedicate their time to helping others made it all worthwhile.

Watching Nyssa do something positive for her community truly makes my heart smile. ❤️
