Lace wedding dress alterations. The dress was taken in at chest, the straps were shortened, the back seams were also reshaped to adjust to the bride's unique silhouette. The length was hemmed and a beautiful chapel train was bustled with five buttons, so the bride could enjoy dancing during her reception.

This wedding dress was altered by taking in at both princess seams at chest and both side seams at the hips. The lace had to be unstitched, repositioned and reapplied after main fabric layers and lining was taken in. The boning inside needed to be reapplied as well. The result was beautiful. Take a look at the before, during the process and after pictures. The dress was also hemmed and bustled.

Finalizing sizing down bodice alterations of a wedding dress, by hand stitching lace, after taking in on both chest seams. (this lace is very dense and even that I chose a tiny needle, and using a thimble, it is still hard to pull it through).
