I finally had a chance to sit down at my workstation, and apparently that was all my brain needed to come back online—because I suddenly remembered I had an online order I had completely forgotten about. 😅

Thankfully it wasn’t late, but it had been sitting a little longer than my usual turnaround, so I tucked in something extra for the wait.

Anyway, this is what running a small business with ADHD looks like sometimes. 😅

Whelp, this page is at significant risk of becoming a blue tongue skink page. 😂

I took Popsicle out of his enclosure for the first time today for a little bath to help with the last of his shed, and he loved his new playpen so much that he begged to come out again an hour later when Millie got home from camp.

He’s already proving to be a great little cuddle buddy and even fulfilled Millie’s dream of watching TV with us on the couch…though hopefully his new rock hide helps file those tiny velociraptor claws down a bit. 😅

Millie’s been having a tough transition to camp, so we stopped by Resource Exchange to check on my magnetic mushrooms that are on display and do a little wander-shopping.

We happened upon a tie dye kit, which felt like kismet because Monday was tie dye shirt day. I prepped a whole activity for after camp the next day, dug out all of our white shirts, and we got to work as soon as she got home. We even passed the kit along to another camp family to make use of it over the weekend.

All of that just to say I’m really loving how they came out, and I’m wearing my personal favorite today. 🥰

Update: Slinky’s new name is officially Popsicle! My little one is off to camp for the first time this week, so I’ve had plenty of time to make Popsicle’s enclosure glorious! I suspect he may be pre-shed so today I built him a new cool/humid hide and added plenty of plants and clutter for him to burrow in. He’s been living the good life in his favorite rock hide, but I hope this encourages him to explore more!

We brought Slinky home yesterday and I was fully prepared for a shy adjustment period.

Instead, he’s spent his first 24 hours exploring, basking, investigating the humans, accepting gentle pets, and devouring a breakfast that Millie helped make.

I already adore this misunderstood little dinosaur.

Thanks to for letting this sweet guy join our family. 🦎
