Emotion is a huge part in my designs as it is something that people experience everyday, and fashion depends on how a person feels when wearing a garment. Fashion design is a form of expression for me, a way for me to communicate and inspire others to see the beauty I see in the world.

I am Emerging

Upcycled sweatpants turned corset with a structural velvet top paired with out Emerging Panel Denim and Radient Chiffon Scarf. This look represents a comfortability within starting to show itself, by letting your clothing fit you instead of you fitting into the clothes.

Sarah Tremain is a healing journey for how I use fashion and clothing to heal my trauma and the generational trauma I inherited. I do this through making clothing with fabric printed with my mother art, through mending and tailoring clothing, through upcycling and reworking already made clothing. Because this journey is a story we tell through our clothes and it’s supposed to change and grow and reflect back as we walk along it.
