Yesterday was so fun and we didn’t notice the heat for the magic of the pond and good food and chattering and dogs and children and bee stings and bleeding scrapes and back flips and wrestlings and storms and all the things of life. ⁠

We are biking and exploring along the coast and up and down the hills and mountains of County Kerry in Western Ireland. Yesterday we were wet through and through for the entire day from Di**le to the Blasket Islands back through Di**le ending in Inch. It’s been an adventure that I’ve not yet taken in, though I’ve taken notes.

I keep this little book in my pocket, and my big journal in my saddle bag!

Fragments of our week. Letters. Cameras. Family. Feet.

Yesterday 60k. More today. Cozy chilly with wind and rain and sunshine and thoughts a-drift. Yet this morning, as I try to wrap it up, I falter.

Second slide - camera strap. A gift from my family! What do you think? I am enjoying this camera but there is an opening and I’ve been fed so many glimpses of so many cameras. I feel an itch.

This weekend’s Dusty Summer Of a Kinds came and went! We will start sending everything out today.

Thank you to everyone who showed up!

The bookbinding bundle will find its way back — we still have some pouches to fill. We’re always digging up vintage and antique things to transform into something new. Ideas are abundant. Treasures are always in the works!

My computer is dead. I’ve been torturing it since I purchased it. I never turned it off. I had a million things open 100% of the time. Yesterday Lightroom and Photoshop. There may be no hope for it and there has been a scurrying for months. Today, Father’s Day, tomorrow Ireland. The day after we return, a family here for the 4th.

I can barely think on my phone so I must replace computer. So many things on it and I never back anything up.

This part doesn’t stress me out. Good riddance, mostly. I have journals.

But I will somehow have to get a new computer if I plan to work again. Which I do.

Photo dump. This morning’s temperature terrace ramblings. Hard to get a good photograph because of the photograph I can’t share. @ My new camera and the strap my family made me for my birthday. What books to bring to Ireland? (We will be visiting family and biking most of the time, so bookS?) Pearl butt. Letter from Katie. Tin movie box and new scrap glass cuttings for Søren and I to play with. Family photograph I am not allowed to share but don’t mind because I have a new little photograph printer that I love and that makes the photograph feel in-the-world.

What else?

Why do I always feel almost relieved when my machines are sabotaged? When I get only the briefest relief?
