The LabX is officially building our 2026–2027 Candidate Pool!

If you’re passionate about dance, youth development, creativity, and community, we’d love to connect with you.

We’re looking for talented, collaborative, and growth-minded professionals who believe that relationships come before content and that creativity has the power to transform young people’s lives.

We’re currently accepting applications for:

🔵 Creative Program Administrators

Our team supports after-school, summer, and community-based programs throughout Baltimore City (our highest area of need), Prince George’s County, and the greater DMV region.

I Don’t Have a Choice

The beginning of everything we see
started as a whisper,
a thought placed gently, yet intentionally,
into the human mind by God.

Before planes touched the sky,
someone imagined flight.
Before melodies filled rooms,
someone heard music where there was silence.
Before movement became language,
someone felt rhythm in their body
and chose to follow it.

Buildings. Boats. Instruments. Stories.
All born from a thought…
fragile at first,
until someone decided to honor it.

So what thought has been placed in you?

And more importantly…
what are you doing with it?

Here’s my unsolicited truth:
don’t wait until life forces you
to stand at a crossroads
to move your creativity into something real.

Because for me…
I don’t have a choice.

The ideas come,
and they demand to be shaped,
to be spoken,
to be lived.

And I wonder…
if more of us carried that same urgency,
that same knowing…
what would shift?

What would be created?
What would be healed?

What would finally exist
because someone decided not to sit on it?

Are you comfortable knowing
your ideas and your gifts
could leave this world with you,
never having been realized?

Or will you choose
to move?

Thank you, , for interviewing me back in March. I had to come back to this for myself as God talks to me and provides creative thoughts for encouragement and purposeful living.
