Mockingbird II’s bathrooms were designed with the same materials seen throughout the home. Natural oak vanities with stone countertops, brass fixtures, and tile that adds subtle pattern without being loud. Some spaces feature checkerboard flooring, others have stone wrapped tubs, and the showers are finished with vertical tile in warm tones. Each bathroom feels warm and functional without overcomplicating things.

A powder bathroom is often the smallest room in a home, but it’s also where design can make its boldest statement. These powder rooms at Mockingbird II embrace that completely. One features dramatic scenic wallpaper paired with a floating stone vanity and antiqued mirror, while another is wrapped entirely in natural oak with a statement stone basin positioned beneath a window framing the landscape. Both spaces use material and pattern boldly without feeling overdone.

Mockingbird II’s office was designed to be a place you actually want to work. Natural oak paneling wraps the walls, while a custom curved desk sits in front of built-in shelving finished in dark stain with brass task lighting. Everything here was designed to make the space feel focused and functional without being cold or corporate.

Mockingbird II’s casita was designed with the same intention as the rest of the home. The bedroom opens directly to the landscape through steel framed windows with layered drapery that softens the light without blocking views. The bathroom carries the same language with natural oak cabinetry, stone countertops, brass fixtures, and tile that creates subtle pattern and depth. Chain hung mirrors and sculptural pendant lighting add considered detail without overcomplicating the space.

The lounge at Mockingbird II was designed to balance structure and comfort. Wood beams run the length of the ceiling, textured plaster walls create depth, and floor to ceiling windows open the space to the outdoor living areas. The built-in bar is framed in dark cabinetry with brass accents and lit to feel like its own moment within the room, while the billiards table sits at the center surrounded by seating that encourages people to stay.

Mockingbird II’s theater was designed with dark wood paneling that absorbs light and sound, tiered seating with stone side tables, and sconces that add ambiance without competing with the screen. The space is fully enclosed, acoustically considered, and built to feel like you’ve left the house entirely when you step inside.

The primary suite at Mockingbird II was designed to feel private from the rest of the home without being disconnected from it.

Wood ceilings carry through from the bedroom to the sitting area to the bath, creating continuity across the entire space. Stone, brass, and natural light define the bathroom, where the vanity stretches along windows framed in brass and the shower is enclosed in veined marble. The bedroom itself is calm and open, with a fireplace that anchors the sitting area and doors that lead to a private terrace.

Mockingbird II is currently taking shape, and even in renderings, you can see the clarity of vision. Exposed wood beams overhead, stone that feels like it’s always been there, and glass walls that blur the line between gathering spaces and the landscape beyond.

Every material was chosen for how it will age, and every room was designed for how it will be used. This is what intentional design looks like from the start.

The best details are the ones you interact with every day.
Brass fixtures that develop character over time. Stone and tile with actual depth and texture. Hardware that feels substantial in your hand.

These are the touches that make the Exeter Residence what it is. Thoughtful, enduring, built to be lived in.

Living in Arizona means the outdoor spaces matter just as much as what’s inside.

The Exeter Residence gets this completely. Stone fireplaces that anchor covered patios. Wood ceilings that extend the warmth of the interior outside. Glass walls that disappear entirely, so there’s no hard line between the living room and the view of Camelback Mountain.

Every outdoor space here was built to actually be lived in, not just looked at. The kind of indoor-outdoor flow that makes Arizona living what it is.

You walk into a space like this and everything just feels right.
Not because it’s trying to impress you, but because everything is exactly where it should be. Natural oak cabinetry that reaches the ceiling. Stone that looks carved from a single piece. Light moving across plaster walls that were finished by hand.
The main living space flows into the kitchen without a hard line between them. Then there’s the secondary prep kitchen that feels just as considered as the rooms everyone sees.
