After 14 years I have decided to sell UCUV to Painted Sky located in Phoenix. Frank will take over all operations and have all our images and inks, so nothing will change except for shipping charges. I have loved every moment and loved and having such an extended UCUV family.

We have been very busy trying to get the new facility ready for the big move. While I am away playing in the Smoky Mountains... standing in a 10 x 10' booth from 9-5 for 5 days, the boys will continue getting everything ready. I will miss my 3 block commute to work, but I guess 7 minutes down Augusta Ave isn't too bad.

The turtles have been colorized. Now we need to make the samples and get them out to PA. That was a turtleishious few days! I guess I will have to rent the movie now.

I never even watched the cartoon, ow I am making a sample for a possible client. I have to channel my inner turtle.

New Jody Bergsma piece to be colorized. I accidentally sent an invoice on the back of one of her black and white drawings and now the client wants it. We believe in recycling everything! I could imagine what the clients think of the re-used cardboard boxes after my sister moved. Yup, tees in boxes with "board games" and "kitchen" written all over them :)

Just got the keys for the new space. We will have a ton of work to accomplish to make it user friendly, but I think it will be a great new home for us, except for that annoying Gonella smell coming from our neighbor. Oh, that awful smell of fresh bread!

Another lovely day here in Chicago. We are starting to get ready for the big move down the road. Hopefully we will be there as long as we have been in this lovely space... 7 years now. Mr Monte Fuzzy Butt is doing much better and is hobbling around town in search for his sister who is constantly roaming the neighborhood.

Congrats to Lou Pud! She is the Employee of the month! She gets this honor for keeping her daddy in line, waking him up and entertaining him while he prints. She also an expert in the corrugated arts, specializing in boxes.
