A slow family day at and honestly, these are the moments I treasure most.

Watching little feet run freely, hearing nonstop laughter, soaking in the fresh air, sunshine, and simple memories together.

As a mother, I truly believe some of the sweetest childhood memories are created in places like this. Slowing down, exploring outdoors, supporting local farms, and simply being together.

So grateful for days that remind us what truly matters. Family days will forever have my heart.

Iā€™ve been realizing how much my entire day shifts when I spend time with God, before anything else.

Before the phone, before the responsibilities, before the noise.

There is something so peaceful about slow mornings with coffee, scripture, prayer, and quiet time with Jesus.

Not perfect mornings. Not glamorous ones. Just intentional ones.

Some days I come overwhelmed. Some days grateful. Some days exhausted. But every single time He meets me where I am. God is so good!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. šŸ¤

Hi sweet friends, Iā€™m Aimee.

As I slowly transition from boutique owner back into content creation, I truly feel my heart expanding in the most beautiful way. Some of you may remember that I actually started creating content all the way back in 2012 on a page called @ ShabbyYellowBarn, before boutique storefronts became such a huge part of my life.

That season was filled with motherhood, raising little babies, DIY projects, renovating homes, creativity, and simply sharing everyday life. Looking back now, I forgot just how much I genuinely loved creating in this way.

Over the last several years, life became very focused on building businesses, raising our family, and simply living in the moment. Honestly, for the past couple years I have barely even remembered to pull out my phone and film anything at all. So stepping back into this space has felt exciting, emotional, unfamiliar, and deeply inspiring all at once.

This new season of Lumiere Vive feels so much more centered around faith, homemaking, motherhood, cozy living, creativity, intentional routines, watercolor painting, recipes, slow living, and finding beauty within everyday life.

I am incredibly excited to begin partnering with brands and stepping onto the other side of collaborations after spending the last 8 years experiencing it from the business owner perspective. It feels so full circle in the sweetest way.

Thank you truly for being here through every season, every transition, every pivot, every business, and every new beginning. Your support means more than you know as I slowly rebuild my algorithm and help Instagram understand this new direction of my page.

I partnered with .blush ļæ¼to install this luxe peel and stick wallpaper, and I am genuinely obsessed. I actually had this Medlock print in our last home as well because I loved it that much.

Has anyone else used one of these crib tents?
We are so excited to enhance Julietteā€™s crib while helping keep her safely in place.

We tried transitioning her to a big girl bed, but it just was not working for us yet, so back to the crib we go.

I can already tell she loves it. For nap time, she immediately seemed comforted, almost like knowing she could not climb out helped her relax and fall asleep.

So grateful for anything that brings more peace to nap time and bedtime.

20 years of marriage this year.

& last year, the enemy almost destroyed it.

Not because we didnā€™t love each other. But because we stopped seeing clearly. Fear, pride, frustration, exhaustion, distractionā€¦ all slowly trying to divide what God joined together.

Late last year, everything shifted.

My husband gave his life fully to Christ and was baptized on October 30th, 2025, and since then our home has changed in ways I cannot fully explain.

Not perfect. Not effortless. But peaceful.

I stopped trying to control everything. I stopped mothering my husband. I started praying differently. Speaking differently. Seeing differently.

And little by little, Jesus restored parts of our marriage and family that I had thought were irreparable.

We have six children ranging from 3 to 18 years old, and I know firsthand how heavy life can feel sometimes. Especially in new seasons of life.

This page is a place where we encourage one another, grow in Christ together, protect our homes in prayer, and remember that God can always restore what feels broken.

Iā€™m praying over every person who sees this today. May Jesus cover your home, your heart, your marriage, and your family with peace and protection.

In Jesusā€™ name, amen.
