Do some messages stay with you long after you receive them?

For me, this was one of those.

A dear customer shared a video with me a while ago, and I still find myself watching it from time to time. It reminds me why I started my artisan shop.

Looking through her children's wardrobe, I don't just see clothes. I imagine birthday parties, cozy cuddles, trips to the park, and all the moments in between.

I see clothes that have been worn, washed, loved, and are now ready to be passed down to the next sibling or cousin.

That's exactly what I hope for every time I sit down to create something new.

I want children to enjoy my knits for as long as they can. So I make them with room to grow, add details that make the fit easy to adjust, and use cotton and bamboo yarns that have a nice stretch.

And they're comfortable through every season.

When a piece is made to last, its story doesn't end when a child outgrows it. It gets to be loved all over again.

I hope every knit I design gets to have a story like this.

Or tagging along to the farmers market like she owns the place :-)

When I created the Mini Fashionista Romper, I kept thinking about days like these.

I wanted it to be something she'd love wearing. Soft against her skin. Comfortable enough for all-day adventures. And thoughtfully made for the beautiful, everyday moments that fill childhood.

You know what I do whenever I need a little pick-me-up?

I start scrolling through my customer reviews. It works every time.

One mom wrote,

"Once you go June, you'll never go back."

Another shared that she's been dressing her children in my knits for seven years.

Then I came across one that made me stop for a moment.

She wrote,

"These pieces remind me so much of my great aunts and the love they poured into every piece."

She also told me they'll one day be tucked into her daughters' hope chests. I don't think she knows how much those words meant to me.

When I started my artisan shop, I wanted to create pieces that children could climb trees in, curl up on the couch in, spill snacks on, wash, wear again, and maybe one day pass them down to a younger brother, sister, cousin, or even their own children.

Maybe that's why so many moms tell me their children are still wearing the same knits years later.

Reading messages like these never gets old.

Do you ever feel like life keeps speeding up?

On one of my nature walks the other day, I found myself thinking about just that.

As I walked, I kept coming back to one thought: The most beautiful things have never been made in a hurry.

Maybe that's exactly why slow fashion matters more than ever in the age of AI.

Wouldn't it be nice if one outfit could keep up with every season?

That's exactly why I love designing with cotton and bamboo.

Soft and breathable on warm days. Just add a tee underneath or a pair of tights when the weather cools down, and they're ready for another season.

They stretch beautifully as your child grows, leaving plenty of room for play, cuddles, and everyday adventures.

They're so soft and comfy that kids often nap in them instead of changing into their pajamas. It always makes me smile when moms tell me that.
