I'm in love and I don't care who knows it!!!! This new fabric line from Sarah Watts is phenomenal. I will be making so many gorgeous bags out of this, but here's the first round. They will be available at the Celebrate west hartford festival this weekend and lots more at the Phoenixville Art Street Festival next Saturday the 13th.... The Pottsgrove Middle School PTA is excited to announce that we will be hosting another community event this spring and would love for your business to participate! Below are the event details.

When: Saturday, 05/09/26 10:00AM - 2:00PM
Where: Pottsgrove Middle School
Address: 1351 N. Hanover St. Pottstown, PA 19464
Cost: $25 for an 8ft space
Registration Deadline: 04/25/26
Register: Online at https://pottsgrovemiddleschoolpta.givebacks.com OR send in your payment along with your information to the Pottsgrove Middle School office. Please make checks payable to the PGMS PTA.
Setup: Will begin at 8:30AM
*Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs and equipment. If you will need access to an electrical outlet, please notate it in your registration.
*This event will be held rain or shine.

It's sports ball season and while we've been busy carting kids around to practice and games, I've been trying to put together a few totes and purses for the occasion. This all things tote (pattern from Knot and Thread ) and a few softball themed purses ( Alpen belt bag) will be available at my next event, the Pottsgrove Middle School craft fair on May 9th.

“Sewing, for me, started as using a learn skill to create functional items, but quickly turned into so much more than that. I love playing with different fibers and colors. I see bag making is so much more than making useful objects; it's creating art…usable, functional, wearable art.

Creative expression has become a crucial part of my own self-care rituals. When things feel overwhelming, sitting down and creating something beautiful helps to bring balance, purpose, and hope into my everyday life.

As I've developed as a fiber artist, I have also been exploring and expressing the genres that feel like truly me. I love things that are bright, bold, and colorful. I resonate with the funky, the nerdy and the artsy… I love helping people express themselves, share a power statement, and find their kindred spirits out in the wild, invoking the phrase, “I love your bag! Where'd you get it?”
