OMG !!! Who remembers these? The classic photo cube: six sides of pure retro magic. This one is the deluxe version (really?) complete with spots for six 3½ x 3½ photos and that crystal clear hi-impact plastic we all thought was the height of sophistication. It sat proudly on coffee tables... a tiny time capsule of family snapshots and questionable haircuts.

This vintage miniature lusterware teacup and pitcher is part of a hand-painted child’s novelty tea set featuring a classic Dutch windmill and landscape motif. Sets like this were typically produced in Occupied Japan or mid-century Japan, and the bright orange handle paired with the soft luster finish gives it that unmistakable charm collectors love. I wish I had the whole set, but for now I’ll have to settle for this little glimpse into old school tea parties.
