When you’re homeless but still contribute to your local BMX track. Wasn’t much, but did the best I could for my sport and local facility.

7 years ago:
Earlier this year I held a raffle for one of my Tusken Outfitters Tusken Raider masks with all proceeds going to help pave the turns at Sports Park BMX. Three incredible raffle ticket purchases, an amazing additional donation from the raffle winner, and a matching funds donation from SORAD BMX brought our total up to $220 towards creating a better competition surface for our local athletes. Thank you to my raffle ticket purchasers, you are SO RAD!

SORAD BMX was created as my outlet to give back to my sport that gave me more than I ever imagined and I have loved since I was 11 years old. 37 years later, BMX is still SO RAD, and I ain’t done yet! SORAD!

Painful memory in the feed today of my 2010 crash in Oldsmar, Florida. 3 broken ribs and a cracked scapula, yeeha! The kindness of Vicki Holmes and her husband Randy helping me off the track and to the hospital outshines all the negative. Limping out of the hospital the next day and somehow making it up the narrow staircase of Crabby Bills for seafood with the MJT Designs crew was also pretty memorable. 😆
