My Story

Hi y'all! My name is Jackie, and I am the owner of F and J Creations, Simply Chic. I am a 5'4" tall, 43 year old Child of God, wife (he is my best friend to), mother to 12 of the most amazing humans ever, and a grandma to 5 amazing little ones! I have been afforded to stay at home, start this business and make a go of it! Life is crazy and pretty much nonstop, but I love it! I have been told numerous times by my husband to just "sit down and relax". I have tried, but I just can't do it! When I am at home, if I am not running the kids to games, doctors/dentist, doing laundry (it is endless), cooking, cleaning, or getting my husband to build me something that I have envisioned in my head, I am painting something, creating something, looking for steals I can snag, or rearranging something! What I love the most about my creative is side is that there is no "wrong" or "right" way to do it or re-do it! When I get an idea, I just go with it and my style ranges so much, but that is just who I am!!! I love all things creative...yes even my hair!

I love to write, I love to share what I am doing or what my family is doing, what projects I am working on, and occasionally I like to share what is going on in my life in general (good or ugly). I hope you enjoy my shop, find something you like or something that inspires you to get crafty crazy and to think outside the box. Being creative and making things with my hands and watching the ideas in my head become a reality is my passion. We can all do anything we set our hearts and mind to, but we can never do anything if we don't take the first step.
