Ed and I are so excited to be bringing North Bay Fiber to Amazing Threads Yarn Shop in Maple Grove, Minnesota for a special trunk show on July 24–25!

We'll be bringing a beautiful selection of our 100% American-sourced, custom-milled, hand-dyed yarns, along with lots of sample garments and accessories to inspire your next project.

Whether you've been following North Bay Fiber for years or are just discovering us, we'd love to meet you, talk yarn, and help you find your next cast-on.

These summer weekends always go by way too fast, but I’m so grateful for the memories we make along the way. ☀️🌊❤️

Following my oldest and his partner around Michigan for high school bass tournaments has become one of our favorite family adventures. 🎣

This weekend took us to the St. Mary’s River, Sault Ste. Marie, and Brimley. We love being there for him, and exploring new corners of Michigan together is always an adventure. We especially love the Upper Peninsula—it never disappoints. The beaches alone are AMAZING.

Do you have a favorite place in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula? We’d love to make it back up there again before summer is over!

We've been having so much fun pulling color combinations from around the shop and imagining all the beautiful Antipodes sweaters that could be.

For anyone looking to knit Andrea's newest Rhinebeck season design with North Bay Fiber yarn, we've paired our BayHouse™ Fi*****ng with Making Tracks Light from Junction Fiber Mill / . The gentle color shifts in Making Tracks Light add beautiful depth and movement to the colorwork yoke.

✨ Sharing one of my favorite crochet makes for this week's . 🧶

The Malibu Sweater combines retro-inspired stripes, flared sleeves, and scalloped edges into such a fun, approachable project. It's a great sweater for cool summer evenings and an easy transition into fall. Such a unique piece! 😍

Our sample is crochet in North Bay Fiber Elemental Worsted, a non-superwash, 100% American-sourced Cormo wool. It gives the sweater beautiful stitch definition while remaining wonderfully soft and comfortable.

Sometimes all it takes is one inspiring project to spark your next cast-on... or in this case, your next chain stitch. 😉

Looking for a fun afternoon of creativity? ☕🧶 We've just added a NEW workshop to our class lineup!

Join Michele at North Bay Fiber for our Needle Felted Coffee Cozy Workshop and learn the basics of needle felting while creating a one-of-a-kind design on a knit coffee cozy.

No previous felting experience is needed, and all felting supplies are included.

Whether you're new to needle felting or looking to try something different, this is the perfect project to add a handmade touch to your favorite mug.

📅 We have two times to choose from:
• Saturday, July 25th from 10:30AM - 1:30PM
• Wednesday, July 29th from 4PM - 7PM
