It was definitely heartfelt today moving out of Wild Orchid. But I can’t wait to put some love and smiles into this new venture. We have made new friendships and family since the start of Wild Orchid and now it’s going to get even better. New beginnings!
Ol’ Banyan Mercantile
My decision has been easy thus far, but I’m not going to lie… this picture hit my heart.
CoastalFlo has been here since before Wild Orchid even opened its doors, and they’ve been part of this little shop every single day since.
Seeing their space empty today made everything suddenly feel very real.
Real that we are down to our final days of sales at Wild Orchid.
Real that by the end of this month, this beautiful little cottage will be empty.
Real that a chapter I poured so much of myself into is actually coming to an end.
There is so much excitement ahead. We have a gorgeous new home for Ol’ Banyan Mercantile, one that will be more convenient for so many of our customers and gives us the opportunity to create something really special.
But I think it’s okay to be excited about where you’re going and still feel a little heartache about what you’re leaving behind.
Wild Orchid was never just four walls and a pretty garden. In nine short months, it became a place filled with friendships, laughter, music, creativity, conversations and so many wonderful memories.
And today, seeing that first empty space, it finally sank in.
We really are moving. 💚
The next chapter is going to be beautiful. But this one will always have a very special place in my heart.
Here’s to carrying everything we loved about Wild Orchid with us as we put down new roots at Ol’ Banyan Mercantile. 🌿
